Orchestra

The Pin Oak Middle School Orchestra has lots of fun learning to play their instruments! You can chose from the violin, the viola, the cello, or the bass. We also perform around the community and we have special field trips around Houston to watch performing groups play. Students regularly meet in the Orchestra room and we are a “home away from home” for the students in Orchestra, as members make many new friends by being in Orchestra. We begin the year by working in a method book, but we quickly move on to playing pieces. The first concert is a Holiday Concert in December, and we always perform at the end of the year in our Spring Awards Concert.
